Halloween Celebrations – Friday, October 29th

Classes will have activities as planned by the classroom teacher. Students will not be eating in classrooms. If you want to send treats please coordinate this with the classroom teacher. Everything needs to be purchased, not homemade, and individually wrapped.

Our Halloween parade will begin at 1:00 and will be held outside this year. Students will parade along the sidewalks around the building. We will make two trips around the building. Parents may come to watch but will need to remain in the designated viewing areas and not approach the children as they participate in the parade.

As you choose a costume, please remember the following guidelines: ***NO toy guns, swords, or masks.*** Clothing and grooming should not distract from the learning environment. All clothing should reach below mid-thigh length when seated. Clothing shall cover the midriff, underwear, backs, and chest at all times. Clothing with inappropriate pictures or messages are not allowed. Gang related styles and insignia are prohibited. Appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and PE class should be worn. Hats and attached hoods on jackets or hoodies are not to be worn inside the building unless it is part of a dress up days as designated by the school.

Las clases tendrán actividades según lo planificado por el profesor de la clase. Los estudiantes no comerán en las aulas. Si usted quiere enviar golosinas por favor coordine esto con el maestro de la clase. Todo tiene que ser comprado, no hecho en casa, y envuelto individualmente.

Nuestro desfile de Halloween comenzará a la 1:00 y se llevará a cabo al aire libre este año. Los estudiantes desfilarán por las aceras alrededor del edificio. Haremos dos viajes alrededor del edificio. Los padres pueden venir a mirar pero tendrán que permanecer en las áreas designadas para ver y no acercarse a los niños mientras participan en el desfile.

Cuando elija un disfraz, recuerde las siguientes directrices: ***No se permiten armas de juguete, espadas o máscaras. La ropa y el aseo personal no deben distraer el ambiente de aprendizaje. Toda la ropa debe llegar por debajo de la mitad del muslo cuando se está sentado. La ropa debe cubrir el vientre, la ropa interior, la espalda y el pecho en todo momento. No se permite la ropa con imágenes o mensajes inapropiados. Están prohibidos los estilos e insignias relacionados con pandillas. Se debe usar ropa y zapatos apropiados para el clima y la clase de educación física. Los sombreros y las capuchas de las chaquetas o sudaderas con capucha no se deben usar dentro del edificio a menos que sea parte de un día de vestimenta designado por la escuela.
