Happy March! We have a busy month ahead of us with important events. Please check the Upcoming Calendar Items to find deadlines for registration for 5th Grade Camp Big Springs, Preschool and Kindergarten registration for the 2023-24 school year and dental varnishing. There will also be no school for students on March 13 & 14.

Upcoming Calendar Items
**Tuesday, March 7th: Lockout Drill (see info below)
**Friday, March 10th: 5th Grade Camp Big Springs – Registration Fees & Online Registration Forms Due
**Monday, March 13th & Tuesday March 14th: NO SCHOOL
**Wednesday, March 15th: 2023-24 Kindergarten Registration Begins (more information coming)
**Thursday, March 23rd: Dental Varnishing (consent forms will be sent home March 15th)
This Week In The After School Program
Emergency Lockout Drill
Spring Creek Elementary informs parents prior to the monthly Emergency Drills taking place at the school. On Tuesday, March 7th, we will be conducting a Lockout drill and will be following the Provo City School District Procedures found on the attached document. Emergency_Procedures
5th Grade Camp Big Springs
Registration Fees & Online Registration Forms due by Friday, March 10th. Payments or Scholarship Forms must be submitted with the Application Form to the school office. Scholarship Forms can be picked up in the school office. After you have submitted the Application to the office you can then complete the online forms by logging into your parent PowerSchool account. Call the school office if you need help. Link for more information
Family Reads
Parents, just a reminder that effective now, instead of each family being able to request a free book, we are opening it up to each student! We hope this change will help build your family library at home and encourage reading at home together as a family. Please be sure to submit a request for your free book on our Family Reads form!

Bloqueo de emergencia
Spring Creek Elementary informa a los padres antes de los Simulacros de Emergencia mensuales que tienen lugar en la escuela. El martes, 7 de marzo, llevaremos a cabo un simulacro de bloqueo y seguiremos los procedimientos del Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de Provo que se encuentran en el documento adjunto. Campamento de 5to Grado Big Springs
Las cuotas de inscripción y los formularios de inscripción en línea deben enviarse antes del vie es 10 de marzo. Pagos o Formularios de Becas deben ser entregados con el Formulario de Inscripción a la oficina de la escuela. Los Formularios de Becas pueden ser recogidos en la oficina de la escuela. Después de que usted haya sometido la Aplicación a la oficina usted puede completar las formas en línea entrando a su cuenta de PowerSchool. Llame a la oficina de la escuela si necesita ayuda.
