Spring is in the air today.  This is the time of year when we get to watch the Earth come back to life with the greens and vibrant colors blooming all around us.  The warmth of the sun fills us with energy and enthusiasm to be outside. It is my goal to bring all of this color and energy into our work here at the school.  Our Spring Creek Team – students, teachers, support staff, parents and community are an amazing group of people. We are not afraid of hard work or the challenging demands that come our way.

We are seeing so much progress in our students.  Their increase in capacity to accomplish their academic work and improve their decision-making skills in all areas is helping them find success.  I am so proud of them. I am proud of the way they are treating one another, the way they are setting and meeting goals, the way they are willing to accept responsibility and the way they are problem solving both academically and socially.  I feel like the proud parent of over 400 children. I hope that you know how much I care about your children, not just as students but also as the wonderful people that they are.

As we wrap up this third term of the year…I know, can you even believe that we are almost three quarters of the way through this year, I want to encourage us all to carry on with the energy that spring will bring.  We need to continue strong. It will take all of us to help our wonderful students to be able to show how far they have come this year. Carry on and enjoy the beauty that is all around us and especially in our wonderful students.

We will be starting a Safety Reminder Message.  It will be sent out every other Friday via Parent Link with a brief reminder of something we can all do to help students stay safe.  Our first message will go out on March 6th.

La primavera está en el aire hoy. Esta es la época del año cuando vemos cómo la Tierra vuelve a la vida con los verdes y los colores vibrantes que florecen a nuestro alrededor. El calor del sol nos llena de energía y entusiasmo para estar afuera. Mi objetivo es traer todo este color y energía a nuestro trabajo aquí en la escuela. Nuestro equipo de Spring Creek: estudiantes, maestros, personal de apoyo, padres y comunidad son un grupo increíble de personas. No tenemos miedo al trabajo duro ni a las demandas desafiantes que se nos presentan.

Estamos viendo mucho progreso en nuestros estudiantes. Su aumento en la capacidad para lograr su trabajo académico y mejorar sus habilidades de toma de decisiones en todas las áreas les está ayudando a encontrar el éxito. Estoy tan orgulloso de ellos. Me enorgullece la forma en que se tratan entre sí, la forma en que establecen y alcanzan los objetivos, la forma en que están dispuestos a aceptar la responsabilidad y la forma en que resuelven los problemas académica y socialmente. Me siento el orgulloso padre de más de 400 niños. Espero que sepan cuánto me importan sus hijos, no solo como estudiantes sino también como las personas maravillosas que son.

A medida que concluimos este tercer trimestre del año … Lo sé, ¿pueden incluso creer que estamos a casi tres cuartos del camino de este año? Quiero alentarnos a todos a continuar con la energía que traerá la primavera. Necesitamos continuar fuertes. Nos llevará a todos ayudar a nuestros maravillosos estudiantes a poder mostrar cuán lejos han llegado este año. Continuar y disfrutar de la belleza que nos rodea y especialmente en nuestros maravillosos estudiantes.

Esté atento a la información sobre programas interesantes que mostrarán el trabajo que los estudiantes han realizado este año y las fechas importantes de las evaluaciones.

Iniciaremos un mensaje de recordatorio de seguridad. Se enviará cada dos viernes a través de Parent Link con un breve recordatorio de algo que todos podemos hacer para ayudar a los estudiantes a mantenerse seguros. Nuestro primer mensaje saldrá el 6 de marzo.
