Dear Spring Creek Families,

We are excited to see you all on October 25th or 26th for your child’s Parent Teacher Conference. Teachers are eager to share your child’s progress with you for the end of the first quarter of school. When school resumes after Fall Break, the rest of the week (Wednesday-Friday) will be early dismissal days at 1:30 p.m. This coming week is also the Book Fair! We hope you will take the time to visit the library when you are at the school for conferences and see what’s available for purchase. Shopping at the Book Fair is a great way to support our school library as well.

I hope you enjoy the final days of Fall Break! We look forward to seeing you all this week.

After School Program this week

***After School Program will not have classes or activities on Wednesday, October 25th or Thursday, October 26th due to early out schedule ***

The After School Program will resume on Monday, October 30th, but will not meet on Tuesday, October 31st due to Halloween.

Choir

Spring Creek Concert Choir WILL meet on Thursday, October 26. We will not meet on Tuesday, October 31st, due to Halloween. 

Choir will have a choir party on Friday, October 27th  at 1:30 – 2:45 p.m.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, October 25th from 1:45-4:00 and Thursday, October 26th from 1:45-7:00 pm. We will be using the website Sign-Up Genius to schedule our conferences. Please see our school website to access your teacher’s Sign-Up Genius page and sign up for an appointment with your child’s teacher. 

Please sign up as soon as possible so that we can arrange for support with translation and other assistance as needed.

Story Cupboard Book Fair

PTA

PTA will be helping with volunteers at the book fair! If you are available, please sign up to help and support literacy in our school community!

Save the date for our Spring Creek Community Night, which will be held on Thursday, November 9th from 5:30-7:00 p.m.!

We will have many community resources there to share information about their programs with you, teachers will be giving families literacy games and activities that can help build your children’s literacy skills at home, each student will receive a free book, free haircuts available for students, pizza will be served (while supplies last), there will be a special meeting to share resources with our new to the country families, and we’ll have lots of fun door prizes! We will also be holding our Annual Title I Meeting during our community night where we will share important information with parents along with a Crumbl cookie while supplies last! You won’t want to miss this amazing event!

STEM Fair

Start to think about your STEM Fair project! This year our STEM Fair will be held in January. All grades are welcome to participate in our school STEM Fair. 5th and 6th graders will have the opportunity to participate in the District and State STEM Fair. It is always best to start thinking about your project early. For more information, please visit our website here. 

ANNUAL POWERSCHOOL UPDATE REQUIRED FOR ALL RETURNING STUDENTS

Reminder to update your online forms in PowerSchool at grades.provo.edu if you have not done so already. All parents/guardians are required to update the online forms in their Parent Portal Account on Powerschool every year. Contact the school office at 801-370-4650 if you have forgotten your login information and they will reset it for you.
