Dear Spring Creek Families,

THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your amazing support of our Community Night last Thursday! We hope you enjoyed the evening. I want to thank our Title I Coordinator, Michelle Blair who organized this event and to our teachers, support staff and community volunteers who so willingly provided free services and information for our families. 

For our families who are new to Spring Creek and who are also new to the country and missed our meeting, I want to encourage you to go to Provo City School District’s website (provo.edu) and in the top right corner of the page, select your native language. There you can access all of the  Parent and Community Resources that are available. I also want all of our families to know if you have concerns about clothing, food, or need support in any way, that we have a Family Advocate, Sarah Mullen who is focused on helping families get those resources they may need. Contact the school office if you need this assistance.

With Thanksgiving and Christmas approaching, if you have specific needs our school social worker, Kellie Byars is also a great resource. You can email her at  kellieb@provo.edu.

• Art Club 3rd – 4th will meet on Thursday
• Art Club 5th – 6th meets on Monday
• HOPE Squad will meet this Wednesday

Dental Varnishing

Spring Creek Dental Varnishing ~ Thursday, Nov 16th

Dental Varnishing Consent Forms were sent home last week.

Each student needs to have their own consent form and only students with a signed consent form will have the varnishing done. Please send in the form even if you do not want to have the varnishing done. A form is attached for your convenience.

PTA

November 17th at 10:30am in room 223 we’ll be having a prep day to assemble items for the Santa Shop! If you’re available we’d love your help! 

We also need volunteers the week of Santa Shop to help students shop. We’ll need assistance during the school day December 5th-8th. We appreciate all our volunteers immensely. For every shift that you come and help, you will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card!

STEM Fair

Start to think about your STEM Fair project! This year our STEM Fair will be held in January. All grades are welcome to participate in our school STEM Fair. 5th and 6th graders will have the opportunity to participate in the District and State STEM Fair. It is always best to start thinking about your project early. For more information, please visit our website.
