2nd place went to : Aliyah, Alanah, and Karlie in Mrs kempter’s class and Hajun, Connor and Eli in Miss Wright’s class
Lastly, our 1st place winners were Alex and Petrus from Mrs. Kempter’s class and Clara and Zeniff in Miss Wright’s class.
Family talking point: Integrity: We try to teach students to be trustworthy and honest. Integrity comes from the root integer meaning whole. Meaning being whole, well rounded and being the same person you are in different situations, not divided.
Possible discussion questions:
What does it mean to be trustworthy?
How do you build trust with others?
How is trust betrayed? Can you think of a time where you were dishonest and betrayed someone’s trust?
Here is a read aloud to help build understanding of integrity: The Empty Pot by Demi (youtube video)
Thank you,
Jay Porter
Principal, Spring Creek Elementary
