Chromebooks / Chargers or Packet Sent Home Today, January 9th
January 9, 2024
Dear Parents,
We have been instructed to prepare for a possible 2-hour late start or online learning day in the event of inclement weather. This does not mean tomorrow has been designated as a 2-hour late start or on-line learning day. Please refer to the communication sent from the district for the process used to determine a 2-hour late start or an on-line learning day. This is just a preparation measure in the event that we need to go on-line.
Just a few reminders that ChromeBooks are expensive and need to be cared for. This year, only 3rd-6th graders will take home ChromeBooks and chargers. Any damages or loss including chargers will be charged to parents. Please work with your children to determine how they can be responsible for the care of their device. Chromebooks should come to and from school in a sturdy backpack. They are meant to be used for schoolwork only and not for gaming or watching YouTube.
It is imperative that ChromeBooks and chargers come back to school with your child the next day and are charged. They use the ChromeBooks for academic assignments every day.
Reminder for K-2 Parents: K-2nd grade students have each received a take-home packet of worksheets that they may complete in the event that an on-line learning day is determined.
