9:05   Safe routes editing and approval

Need to address a crosswalk for the new development that will be across the street. 

The city says that they won’t put a crosswalk there. Need to address that with the city. 

Need a 20 mph sign for the school zone with flashing lights and crossing guard. 

 What are the resources that we can utilize to be able to help get more support for crosswalks and lights?

The school also looks at Acadiance Reading and Math data too. 

The RISE tests and Acadience tests both test different things. Acadience tests foundational parts of reading. RISE tests more comprehension and ways of using the English language. 

The RISE is a more rigorous test too, but we need to be able to help students be able to reach proficiency. 

Across the district, students aren’t doing well in the ELA subjects. 

Trustlands – aides helping with math and language arts. We also need to help with Tier 1 teaching and good instruction in the classroom.
