9:00 – 9:15 Safety Plan

• Brooke Berges went over Safety plan. Talking about utility shut off stations and students with health plans that we need to be aware of in an emergency
• Faculty members each have a different role during an emergency.
• School evacuation plan with map presented, evacuate down to the church down the street
• MERT team: emergency response team team will do one drill during the year  ATTACH DOCUMENT
• Attach Document Safety Plan
• Include in sub plans how to act in different emergency situations
• SRO:  getting access to some of the schools cameras In November we will have an active shooter training

9:15 – 9:25 School Safe Routes Plan   

• Having trouble accessing the plan and tracing safe routes will push this to next meeting’s agenda

9:25 – 9:40 Parent/School/Student Compact Presentation and Approval

• Review of Parent Engagement Policy and Parent Compact
• Correct spelling on Annual Meeting section of Engagement Policy
• Add specific ways parents can volunteer at Spring Creek on the Compact
• Both documents approved by teachers/admin/parents in attendance

9:40 – 9:55 Review Trustlands Plan

• Art teacher moved to Beverly Sorenson Art Grant and is not using all of the funds budgeted for her. We are using these additional funds to pay for 2 literacy instructional assistants.

9:55 – 10:05 New Community Council Leadership Voting Regularly Scheduled Meetings

• Ashley Rayback was nominated to be SCC Chair by Oliva Goldman
• Lindsay Stockdale volunteered/nominated to be SCC Vice-Chair
• Jay Porter moved to approve these positions and Olivia Goldman seconded the motion.
