Dear Spring Creek Families,

This past week we held our annual HAWK Assembly where we introduced students to our new Spring Creek expectations, SOAR cards, and the Hawk’s Nest. These are just some of the positive ways we are spotlighting students who demonstrate SOAR behaviors and attributes. In case you hadn’t hear SOAR stands for:

• (S) Showing kindness 
• (O) Owning our learning
• (A) Acting safely
• (R) Responding responsibly 

This year we are also placing a HUGE emphasis on regular, on-time attendance. We will be offering student prizes and classroom rewards with the highest honor of a classroom being able to display the Golden Hawk Trophy for the month. If the school can ever be of help getting your student to school, please reach out. We have support staff who can greet kids outside and help them with the transition into school. Every month, I’ll be sharing our attendance numbers and classroom winners!

Spring Creek Choir

Our Spring Creek Singers will begin rehearsing on Tuesday, September 12 at 7:30 a.m. in the kiva. Students in Grades 3-6 are invited to join this group of fantastic young musicians.  Please see the attached registration form for more information!  Come sing with us!

ANNUAL POWERSCHOOL UPDATE REQUIRED FOR ALL RETURNING STUDENTS

Reminder to update your online forms in PowerSchool at grades.provo.edu if you have not done so already. All parents/guardians are required to update the online forms in their Parent Portal Account on Powerschool every year. Contact the school office at 801-370-4650 if you have forgotten your login information and they will reset it for you.
