Dear Spring Creek Families,

Happy March! It’s hard to believe that we are already in the month of March. There are some important calendar dates to be aware of in the coming weeks. Pay particular attention to the no school days in the middle of the month for students. 

Lastly, we hope that you will let your friends and neighbors know that Kindergarten registration for the next school begins on March 13. 

Thank you for your continued support of your students in demonstrating kindness, owning their learning, acting safely and responding responsibly. Remember, Spring Creek Hawks don’t just fly, they SOAR!

Dental Varnishing

Spring Creek Dental Varnishing ~ Thursday, March 7th Dental Varnishing Consent Forms were sent home. Please fill out and return to teacher. Each student needs to have their own consent form and only students with a signed consent form will have the varnishing done. Please send in the form even if you do not want to have the varnishing done. A form is attached for your convenience.

Choir

The Spring Creek Singers will be performing this Thursday, March 7th at the PCSD Elementary Choir Festival, 9-11 a.m.  Please have the singers come to our regular 7:30 a.m. rehearsals, and come wearing choir t-shirts on Thursday morning.  Families may watch the live streamed performance via this link:   https://www.youtube.com/live/lKu5jivbJ70?feature=shared

5th Grade Camp Big Springs

~ Friday, March 8th: All registration fees and online registration forms are due

Information can be found at campbigsprings.provo.edu (also see attached flyer) Payments or Scholarship Form must be submitted with the Application. Scholarship Forms can be picked up in the school office.

SAVE THE DATE: After School Hawk Theatre Drama Club Performance

Thursday, March 28th at 6:00 pm in the Spring Creek gym Spring Creek students and their families are invited to come and watch 1st-6th Hawk Theatre Drama Club perform the much anticipated Beauty & the Beast Jr. Doors will open for seating at 5:45 pm We hope to see you all there!

We are also collecting books to donate to classroom libraries as part of expressing our appreciation for our amazing teachers and staff! There are two Amazon wishlists, so that they could easily be sorted by teacher. If you click on the tag with your teacher’s name it will take you to their list. If you don’t see your teacher on the first list, please check the second. If you select the registry address your book will be shipped to the school. We will make sure any gift messages are included. All books will be delivered to classrooms the last day of staff appreciation week (March 29th).
