Important Information & Dates for Week of January 2nd
Dear Spring Creek Families,
Welcome back to school! We are eager to have students back in the building and ready to learn. As students return to school, we ask that you remind them of school expectations to be safe, be kind and be responsible. Reviewing school expectations is a great way to help the transition back to school to go more smoothly. Every week I have the amazing opportunity of reading the dozens of BE CARDS that teachers and staff are giving to students in an effort to positively recognize their good choices. Thank you for your home support as we emphasize these positive choices.
The month of January is a wonderful time to recommit to having students get to school on time! Learning begins as soon as students walk into the classroom at 8:45 a.m. Having students arrive on time helps set them up for a successful day and ensures that students are in class for core instruction. Thank you for your help with this.
Lastly, if your child read 200 minutes during the holiday break, please fill out the parent signature page that was sent home with your child before the break. Signature pages are due to the office no later than Friday, January 6 to participate in the Donut Party the following week. Parent signature pages can also be found on the school website and one is attached to this email. I am excited to celebrate the reading dedication and commitment of our students!
Happy New Year, Mrs. Snow, Principal

Stem Fair
Get excited for our STEM Fair! Here is the link to our STEM Page for January, where you can find the links to the required applications and helpful information to get your project started!
If your child is ready to get started, they will need to fill out an application. This can either be found in the link above or they can pick up a hard copy from Mrs. Kempter in room #212. Once they have finished their application, they need to give it to Mrs. Kempter. Mrs. Kempter will then give your child a coupon for a free poster board. They will then take this coupon to the office to redeem it.
Applications for the after school support club are also open for the STEM Fair! You can pick up a hard copy, or you can use the link above to print them yourself. This is for students to work on their project or ask Mrs. Kempter questions.
