Day 1 for Mrs Foster’s 6th Grade Class Building Robots
- May 1st, 2024
Today is day 1 for Mrs Foster’s 6th grade class building robots. When they are done we will compete in the “ultimate robot challenge!”...
Dear Spring Creek Families,
What a week it has been with an online learning day and a lot of snow! We are excited for spring and all of the activities and learning that is ahead of us.
Next month, March 15-17, Spring Creek will have Safety Week with a different safety focus each day. Part of our focus will be teaching students how to stay safe online and will include a school assembly by NetSmartz. With more and more students having smartphones, I want to remind parents and students of Spring Creek’s policy that cell phones and smartphones are not allowed on school property including school buses. If students need to bring a cell phone, it is to remain in their backpacks at all times.
As you know, there are many social media apps influencing students and they can sometimes impact students’ focus and peer relationships in school. I encourage you to check the school website or use this link Internet Safety & Digital Responsibility Resources for more information.
Thank you for your efforts in supporting your students, getting them to school on time and engaging in their learning. We have seen amazing academic growth in reading and math and want to continue this positive trend through the end of the school year.
Have a great week, Mrs. Snow, Principal
