Dear Spring Creek Families,
We have had a week of Spring Creek students sharing their talents and owning their learning in their classrooms, on the playground and in other areas of the school. First, thank you to Mrs. Gylseth and our choir for their beautiful performance last Thursday at the District Musical Festival. You can go to our school’s social media accounts to see and listen to them. You won’t be disappointed!
As I observe in classrooms and interact with students in various settings, I’m impressed with their desire to work hard, ask questions and be resilient. Learning, making mistakes and persevering through difficulties is not easy but they are doing it! Our amazing teachers and staff truly support students in being successful and I’m grateful for each of them.
As a reminder, Daylight Saving Time starts! Please plan accordingly so that your child is on time Monday morning for school.

After School Program This Week
- After School Academy 1-2 is CANCELED this week and will resume next week
- After School Academy 3-4 is CANCELED Monday Only and will meet Tuesday – Thursday this week
- After School Academy 5-6 will meet Monday – Thursday
- Hawk Theatre Drama Club 1st – 3rd will meet Monday & Wednesday
- Hawk Theatre Drama Club 4th – 6th will meet Tuesday & Thursday
- Robotics Club will meet Monday – Thursday

Thursday, March 28th at 6:00 pm in the Spring Creek gym
Spring Creek students and their families are invited to come and watch 1st-6th Hawk Theatre Drama Club perform the much anticipated Beauty & the Beast Jr. Doors will open for seating at 5:45 pm We hope to see you all there!
5th Grade Camp Big Springs registration deadline has been extended to Friday, March 29th.
Information can be found at campbigsprings.provo.edu.
Payments or Scholarship Form must be submitted with the Application. Scholarship Forms can be picked up in the school office.
2024-25 Kindergarten and New Student Registration
New student registration for the 2024-25 school year begins Wednesday, March 13th. Your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024 to be enrolled in Kindergarten. Registration is a 3-step process, mainly done online. Appointment preferred for in person registration. Contact the school office at 801-370-4650 with any questions.
Beginning March 13th: Start the registration process.

Staff Appreciation Week is coming soon! We are still looking for help with doors! This year’s theme is “Our Staff is Amazing: Read All About It!”
We provide the butcher paper for you to decorate the door. To get your paper contact Nicole Hill at 385-450-6833 or Nicole.hill628@outlook.com
We are also collecting books to donate to classroom libraries as part of expressing our appreciation for our amazing teachers and staff! There are two Amazon wishlists, so that they could easily be sorted by teacher. If you click on the tag with your teacher’s name it will take you to their list. If you don’t see your teacher on the first list, please check the second. If you select the registry address your book will be shipped to the school. We will make sure any gift messages are included. All books will be delivered to classrooms the last day of staff appreciation week (March 29th).
2024-25 Preschool Registration
Registration has begun for the 2024-25 Provo City School District Title I Preschool. See attached flyer for more information.
