Spring Creek Parents,

     I just got back from our choir performing in the District Choir Festival. Spring Creek students did a fantastic job representing our school. They performed beautifully and they were also very well behaved as they listened to others. Mrs. Gylseth and her student teacher, Ms. Wagner, have done a great job in teaching these kids about using their voice as a beautiful musical instrument.  

Weekly family talking point:  Building trust

We teach kids at spring creek to have integrity and to be trustworthy. This entails acting in a way that promotes trust from others but it also means owning our actions when we mess up and striving to earn trust back.

Possible talking points:  

1. What does it mean to be trustworthy and to have integrity?
2. What is the best thing to do when you mess up and know you may get in trouble for your actions?
3. How do you build trust?
4. What problems can you have if you can’t be trusted?

Emergency Drill

Spring Creek Elementary informs parents prior to the monthly Emergency Drills taking place at the school. On Tuesday March 18th, we will be conducting an Emergency Evacuation Drill and will be following the Provo City School District Procedures on the below link.

Choir

There will be a choir party in the library at 7:45 a.m. on Friday, March 21.  This will be in addition to our regular Tuesday and Thursday rehearsals. 

Art Salon & Theatre Performance of Wizard of Oz Jr

SAVE THE DATE & join us for a parent & family night of fine arts and fun at our annual Art Salon & Theatre Performance of the Wizard of Oz Jr. on Thursday, March 27th at 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Student artwork will be on display for families to enjoy as well as our Hawk Theatre performance of Wizard of Oz Jr. on stage in the gym. We will be giving out a special art kit for kids (while supplies last). We look forward to seeing you there!

Family Reads!

Be sure to take a look at our new and improved Family Reads book request form (linked here)!  You can now see a picture of each book which will make selecting a book with your child fun and even easier! We’ve also added some new titles and a seasonal book section to choose from! Be sure to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to build your home library with FREE books! Reading together as a family is a great way to instill a love of reading in your child and help them grow as a reader! 2024-25 Kindergarten and New Student Registration

Now registering new students for the 2025-26 school year. Your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025 to be enrolled in Kindergarten. Registration is a 3-step process, mainly done online. Appointment preferred for in person registration. Contact the school office at 801-370-4650 with any questions.
