Dear Spring Creek Families,
With the completion of Term 3 of school, it is hard to believe we are already more than a week into the last term of school! There are some exciting things happening this coming week. This Thursday, the After School Hawk Theater Drama Club will be performing Beauty and the Beast Jr.” at 6:00 p.m. These students have been practicing and perfecting their performances and they would love to have you attend. The front doors will open at 5:45 p.m.
This coming week is Staff Appreciation Week. We are fortunate to have so many dedicated, hard working professionals who support students each and every day. Likewise, thank you to the PTA and others who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this upcoming week a meaningful one for all of our staff members.

PTA ~ Staff Appreciation Week starts tomorrow!
Spirit days will be: Monday: These are my reading socks! Wear crazy socks Tuesday: We appreciate our staff! Write a Thank You note to your teacher or other staff member! Wednesday: Dress like a book character day! Thursday: Dress like a librarian day! Friday: Hawks soar to the library! Wear your school shirt!

We are still collecting books to donate to classroom libraries as part of expressing our appreciation for our amazing teachers and staff! There are two Amazon wishlists, so that they could easily be sorted by teacher. If you click on the tag with your teacher’s name it will take you to their list. If you don’t see your teacher on the first list, please check the second. We will make sure any gift messages are included. Books will be delivered to classrooms on the last day of staff appreciation week (March 29th).
Battle of the Books
Our Battle of the Books Assembly will be on Tuesday, March 26th at 2:30. Parents are welcome to come watch the winning student teams compete against the teacher and PTA teams. We are excited to celebrate all the students who put in a lot of time & effort in Battle of the Books this year!
After School Hawk Theatre Drama Club Performance
Thursday, March 28th at 6:00 pm in the Spring Creek gym Spring Creek students and their families are invited to come and watch 1st-6th Hawk Theatre Drama Club perform the much anticipated Beauty & the Beast Jr. Doors will open for seating at 5:45 pm. We hope to see you all there!
Evacuation Drill
Spring Creek Elementary informs parents prior to the monthly Emergency Drills taking place at the school. On Monday March 25th, we will be conducting an Evacuation Drill and will be following the Provo City School District Procedures.
5th Grade Camp Big Springs registration closes Friday, March 29th.
Information can be found at campbigsprings.provo.edu Payments or Scholarship Form must be submitted with the Application. Scholarship Forms can be picked up in the school office.
2024-25 Kindergarten and New Student Registration
New student registration for the 2024-25 school year has begun. Your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024 to be enrolled in Kindergarten. Registration is a 3-step process, mainly done online. Appointment preferred for in person registration. Contact the school office at 801-370-4650 with any questions.
2024-25 Preschool Registration
Registration has begun for the 2024-25 Provo City School District Title I Preschool. See attached flyer for more information.
