Spring Creek Elementary School

Dear Spring Creek Families,

In this last edition of the 2023-24 school newsletter, I wanted to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for the support and kindness you have shown me throughout my time as principal. Serving as principal at Spring Creek has been an honor, and it is all thanks to the collaborative spirit and tireless efforts of our entire school community. Your partnership and involvement in your child’s education have been invaluable. I am deeply grateful for the privilege of working alongside you in helping shape the future of our students. The commitment of our faculty and staff to our students’ growth and well-being is nothing short of extraordinary. And of course our students, they are the heart of the school and it has been an absolute joy to watch them learn, grow and thrive. They truly represent our SOAR attributes!

I hope in the final days of school, you will be able to join us in some of the culminating activities that students are so excited about (please see the calendar items below).

Always remember, that Spring Creek Hawks don’t just fly, they SOAR!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Snow, Principal

Field Day

This Tuesday, May 21st, 1st-5th grade will have field day! Please have your child wear good shoes for outdoor games including running. They may also need sunscreen and a hat! There will be a couple of games involving water. The goal of these games is not to get soaking wet, so children should NOT wear a swimsuit, but clothing that dries quickly would be a good idea.

Dance Festival Information: Friday, May 24th at 10:00am

Students will be dancing in the roundabout at the south end of the driveway. The area to the west of the school building will be blocked off to traffic after 9:30am. Please plan to bring blankets or lawn chairs to use for your seating. The audience will be seated in the grass area to the east of the roundabout. Parents will not be able to enter the school building without checking in through the Raptor System after the event. If you would like to check your child out after the Dance Festival, teachers will be taking students back to the classroom to gather their belongings and sack lunches. They will then meet parents at the front of the school – 1st – 3rd grade on the north side of the front entrance and 4th-6th grade to the south of the front entrance. You will be able to check your child out with his or her classroom teachers without entering the building. We thank you for your patience as we do all that we can to keep students safe and accounted for.

School Lunch Debts

All school lunch balances need to be paid in full by Friday, May 24th.
