NewsDuring the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government provided free meals to all students. However, this program was not renewed for next school year. This means that families must qualify and apply for free or reduced priced meals for the 2022-23 school year.
The application process requires 2 steps to receive meals for the full school year. If you know you qualify for free or reduced meals, need to check your qualification status, or don’t know the required deadlines, please watch this video. It can be confusing so, if you still have questions, do not hesitate to reach out to your school or the Child Nutrition Department for assistance. Here is a link to the application:
