Author’s Perspective 5.4
An author’s perspective affects their writing, determining whether it is positive, negative, or neutral.
Your topic: Is reading in school benificial?
You’re going to write THREE (yes, THREE) essays: one neutral, one positive, one negative. Your perspective should change for each one.
This needs to be a full response. “Yes,” “No,” “I don’t know” won’t cut it. Through your writing I need to see your perspective. If you’re writing that reading IS good, I do not want to see phrases such as “reading is boring” or “there aren’t enough good books.” Your perspective will change the types of words used.
Questions? Ask Miss Wright–but NOT if she’s with a reading group. She will ignore you.
