Character and Setting 4.1

Miss Wright is looking for the fifth grade book with the best character and setting. Below are four different books. You have four assignments for each book.

1. Make a list of all the characters
2. There is more to character than just listing names. What is each character like? How do they act? Are they mean, nice, or in between, and how do you know? From your list of characters, choose three to describe in detail.
3. Setting. Where does the book take place? Describe it for us. Is this place in the real world? If not, how is this place different from the real world? If there is more than one setting, also describe the second setting. If there are three or more setting, please choose your favorite three and describe them.
4. Would the story be different if it were set somewher else (such as another country, another state, or another planet)?

You need to complete your project in keynote. There should be at least four slides per book, plus a title page, meaning a minimum of THIRTEEN slides. Please have each cluster of slides clearly labelled with the book title. DOUBLE CHECK for correct spelling and punctuation.
