Spring Creek Elementary School

On Friday we had the pleasure of learning about and hearing the harp! Ashley Rayback, the mom of one of our first graders, is a wonderful harpist and came to share her talent with us.  The first graders got to learn about how the harp is one of the oldest instruments known to man, that it is actually a percussion instrument, and it comes in different sizes.  The harp Mrs. Rayback brought was the harp she got when she was 12 years old.  We got to hear different types of songs.  The kids were able to ask questions and touch and play the harp!
