Dear Spring Creek Families,

We had a great first week back to school! It was wonderful to see students back in school eager and excited to learn. Last week we had a SOAR Assembly with all K-6 students where we reviewed our SOAR expectations and celebrated our January HAWK students of the month. Student winners received a $10 Amazon gift card and school t-shirt! 

The end of the second quarter is Thursday, January 11. Because of this, there is no school on Friday, January 12-Tuesday, January 16. Teachers will be sharing Standards Reports at Parent Teacher Conferences at the beginning of February. For more information, check the “Upcoming Calendar Items” below.

After School Program This Week

• After School Academy 5-6  will meet on Monday – Thursday
• Hawk Theatre Drama Club 1st – 3rd will meet on Monday & Wednesday
• Hawk Theatre Drama Club 4th – 6th will meet on Tuesday & Thursday
• HOPE Squad meets this Wednesday!

CHOIR

Choir will begin rehearsals on Thursday, January 18th at 7:30 a.m. in the kiva.  New singers in grades 3-6 are welcome to join.  Please see Mrs. Gylseth for registration forms.  

STEM Fair

Our STEM Fair is going to be on February 1st, 2024. This means that you now have less than 1 month to complete your project!. Throughout January, we will have After School Meetings to further develop projects. If you would like to attend, please visit our handbook here for an application, or talk to Mrs. Kempter. If you would like to participate in our fair, please make sure to read all the rules and submit an application as soon as possible.
