Dear Spring Creek Families,

It is hard to believe but we have already finished Term One! I hope you are enjoying a wonderful fall break with your students! Students will return to school on Wednesday, October 19. We want to encourage ALL students to wear their school t-shirts on Friday, October 21 for School Spirit Day as part of Spring Creek’s 20th Anniversary celebration. We have a photographer coming to take a group photo of all students and staff to help commemorate this special occasion. The photo is in keeping with school tradition as a similar photo was taken in 2002 and 2012. 

This year we have set a goal of having 100% attendance for our Parent Teacher Conferences! Teachers are eager to speak with you about your students, their academic accomplishments and growth, as well as how we can continue to work in partnership in helping your students succeed. 

This year, we will also be holding our Annual Title I Meeting on Thursday, November 3rd in the gym and will be hosting dinner for families that attend that meeting! Please look for more details and information in the coming days.

Dental Varnishing Spring Creek Dental Varnishing ~ Thursday, Oct 27th Dental Varnishing Consent Forms will be send home on Wednesday, Oct 19th

Each student needs to have their own consent form and only students with a signed consent form will have the varnishing done. Please send in the form even if you do not want to have the varnishing done. A form is attached for your convenience along with an information sheet.

**If you would like a retake or ordering pictures contact the school office at 801-370-4650 to have your child put on the list to have their picture taken.

Halloween Parade Information Halloween Parade, Monday, October 31 at 3:00 pm (outside weather permitting)

As you choose a costume, please remember the following guidelines:

• NO TOY GUNS, SWORDS, WEAPONS OR MASKS
• Clothing and grooming should not distract from the learning environment.
• All clothing should reach below mid-thigh length when seated.
• Clothing shall cover the midriff, underwear, backs, and chest at all times.
• Clothing with inappropriate pictures or messages are not allowed. 
• Gang related styles and insignia are prohibited.
• Appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and PE class should be worn.
• Hats and attached hoods on jackets or hoodies are not to be worn inside the building

Estimadas familias de Spring Creek,

¡Es difícil de creer, pero ya hemos terminado el primer trimestre! ¡Espero que esté disfrutando de unas maravillosas vacaciones de otoño con sus estudiantes! Los estudiantes regresarán a la escuela el miércoles 19 de octubre. Queremos alentar a TODOS los estudiantes a usar sus camisetas escolares el viernes 21 de octubre para el Día del Espíritu Escolar como parte de la celebración del vigésimo aniversario de Spring Creek. Tenemos un fotógrafo que viene a tomar una foto grupal de todos los estudiantes y el personal para ayudar a conmemorar esta ocasión especial. La foto está en consonancia con la tradición escolar, ya que se tomó una foto similar en 2002 y 2012.

¡Este año nos hemos fijado la meta de tener un 100% de asistencia a nuestras conferencias de padres y maestros! Las maestras están ansiosas por hablar con usted sobre sus estudiantes, sus logros académicos y su crecimiento, así como sobre cómo podemos continuar trabajando en colaboración para ayudar a sus estudiantes a tener éxito.

¡Este año, también llevaremos a cabo nuestra reunión anual de Título I el jueves 3 de noviembre en el gimnasio y organizaremos una cena para las familias que asistan a esa reunión! Busque más detalles e información en los próximos días.

Barnizado Dental Barnizado dental en Spring Creek ~ jueves, 27 de octubre Los formularios de consentimiento de barnizado dental se enviarán a casa el miércoles 19 de octubre.

Cada estudiante debe tener su propio formulario de consentimiento y sólo los estudiantes que tengan un formulario de consentimiento firmado recibirán el barnizado. Envíe el formulario incluso si no desea que se realice el barnizado. Se adjunta un formulario para su conveniencia junto con una hoja de información.

• Los estilos e insignias relacionados con pandillas están prohibidos.
• Se debe usar ropa y zapatos apropiados para el clima y la clase de educación física.
• Los sombreros y las capuchas adheridas a las chaquetas o sudaderas con capucha no deben usarse dentro del edificio.
