The Spring Creek Robotics team is in great need of volunteer mentors. If you know of anyone who may have a background or education that is technical, programming, Computer science, robotics, or engineering or maybe even a LEGO enthusiast, who would be willing to mentor our Robotics team, please let me know or send them my contact information. This will be a volunteer position.

Here are the details: Need: 1-8 mentors Dates: February 24th – April 28th Time: 3:45 – 4:45pm Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays (if they could only do once per week, that would help too) Working with 5th & 6th grade Robotics team – help students navigate the LEGO Classroom site and programming basics, help students problem solve in a student driven environment. We have an instructional assistant managing the classroom. Competition: 04/28/22 as part of our after school program, students will complete up to 4 specific tasks with their EV3 LEGO Robot.

El equipo de Robótica de Spring Creek está en gran necesidad de mentores voluntarios. Aquí están los detalles: Se necesitan 1-8 mentores Fechas: 24 de febrero – 28 de abril Hora: 3:45 – 4:45pm Días: Martes y jueves (si pudieran hacer sólo una vez por semana, eso también ayudaría) Trabajar con el equipo de Robótica de 5º y 6º grado – ayudar a los estudiantes a navegar por el sitio de LEGO Classroom y los fundamentos de programación, ayudar a los estudiantes a resolver problemas en un entorno impulsado por los estudiantes. Tenemos un asistente de instrucción que maneja el aula. Competencia: 04/28/22 como parte de nuestro programa extraescolar, los estudiantes completarán hasta 4 tareas específicas con su Robot LEGO EV3.
