It’s that time of year again! The Springville Museum of Art is getting ready to host its annual Spiritual and Religious Youth Art Competition! This year’s theme is Depictions of Divinity. The prompts for this year’s Youth Art Competition will focus on Divinity and what that means to each student. We encourage students to consider the following prompts when thinking of subject matter: – What does “Divine” or “Divinity” mean to you? – When do you feel close to something bigger than yourself? – Where do you see Divinity in yourself? What is your superpower? What superpower would you like?

All entries are due to Mrs. Roberts by November 2nd with a completed artwork and a completed entry card attached to the back of the artwork, come see Mrs. Roberts for an entry form or you can print one from the museums website at smofa.org. ¡Ya es otra vez esa época del año! El Museo de Arte de Springville se prepara para acoger su concurso anual de arte juvenil espiritual y religioso. El tema de este año es Representaciones de la Divinidad. Los temas del Concurso de Arte Juvenil de este año se centrarán en la Divinidad y en lo que ésta significa para cada estudiante. Animamos a los estudiantes a que tengan en cuenta las siguientes indicaciones cuando piensen en el tema: – ¿Qué significa para ti “Divino” o “Divinidad”? – ¿Cuándo te sientes cerca de algo más grande que tú? – ¿Dónde ves la Divinidad en ti mismo? ¿Cuál es tu superpoder? ¿Qué superpoder te gustaría tener?

Todos los trabajos deben ser entregados a la Sra. Roberts antes del 2 de noviembre con una obra de arte completa y una tarjeta de entrada completa adjunta a la parte posterior de la obra de arte, ven a ver a la Sra. Roberts para un formulario de inscripción o puedes imprimir uno desde el sitio web de los museos en smofa.org. Si necesitas material, ven a ver a la Sra.
