Three Little Pigs S.T.E.A.M. Activity in Mrs Martinez 1st Grade Class
This week we have been talking about what materials buildings are made from. The class did a Three Little Pigs S.T.E.A.M. activity to go with WONDERS Language Arts. We read a few 3 Little Pigs stories and then did a S.T.E.A.M. activity where we made houses of straw (spaghetti noodles), sticks (pretzels), and bricks (marshmallows). After building each house the big bad wolf (the students) huffed and puffed and tried to blow the houses down! Fun stuff going on in 1st grade!
